Huntley, IL -- On Monday and Tuesday, the North Central University (NCU) men's golf team competed at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Regional Meet. This year's regional was hosted by Judson University (IL) at the Whisper Creek Golf Course in Huntley, IL. Collectively, NCU recorded rounds of 320 (+32) and 319 (+31) for a two-day total of 639 (+63), finishing solidly in 5th place in the middle of the pack in a highly competitive regional field.
Leading the way for the Rams was freshman
Kaden Dunton, who carded rounds of 79 and a career-low 76 to finish with a 155 (+11), tying for 10th place individually. Behind him,
Greg Salinas and
Hector Avila matched each other stroke-for-stroke, both posting a two-day total of 161 (+17) to tie for 24th place. Close behind was
Joe Stanton, who showed steady improvement from round one to round two, ending with a 162 (+18) and placing 26th overall. Rounding out the Rams lineup was junior
Ashton Stansfield, who battled through a tough second round to close with a 184 (+40), placing 40th. Collectively, NCU recorded rounds of 320 and 319 for a two-day total of 639 (+63), finishing solidly in the middle of the pack in a highly competitive regional field.
