Rams Compete at the NCCAA Regionals in Illinois

Huntley, IL -- On Monday and Tuesday, the North Central University (NCU) women's golf team competed at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Regional Meet. This year's regional was hosted by Judson University (IL) at the Whisper Creek Golf Course in Huntley, IL. The team finished in 5th place after posting rounds of 444 (+156) and 458 (+170) through two rounds. 

Leading the way for the Rams was freshman Brooklyn Barton, who carded back-to-back rounds of 95 for a two-day total of 190 (+46), earning her an 18th-place finish. She was followed by fellow-freshman, Hannah Wolf, who showed strong improvement on day two with a 108 to close at 222 (+78), placing 21st overall. Claire Nelsen contributed consistent play across both rounds, tallying a total of 239 (+95) to finish in 22nd place. Rounding out the Rams' lineup was Erma Ramirez, who posted a career-low round of 123 on day one before finishing with a two-day score of 251 (+107), landing in 23rd place. As a team, NCU combined for a score of 902 (+326), securing a 5th-place team finish at the event.
