Saint Michael, MN -- This Tuesday, the North Central University (NCU) men's golf teams continued their fall season at the UNW Invite, hosted by the University of Northwestern–St. Paul at Fox Hollow Golf Course. Last year, the men took 7th place at this meet. Today, the Rams improved to 4th place out of 7 schools.
NCU finished with a team score of 315 (+31). Sophomores,
Hector Avila and
Greg Salinas, led the way, each posting a 77 (+5) to tie for 17th overall. Junior
Joe Stanton followed closely with a 78 (+6) to finish tied for 23rd. Freshman
Kaden Dunton added an 83 (+11), while newcomer
Ashton Stansfield shot an 84 (+12) in his first collegiate meet.
