Waseca, MN -- North Central University (NCU) women's golf headed to Waseca today to play in the Viking Invite hosted by Bethany Lutheran College. The meet took place at the Waseca Lakeside Club, where the women posted a season-best round of 418 (+134) to also place the highest they have at an invitational this year. Freshman
Hannah Wolf (93), freshman Calire Nelsen (104), and senior
Erma Ramirez (120) all shot career-bests to propel the Rams to a 3rd place finish.
Led by freshman
Hannah Wolf, who fired a career-best 93 (+22) to finish in 8th place, the Rams put together a strong day at the Viking Invite. She was followed closely by freshman
Brooklyn Barton, who turned in a steady 101 (+30) to place 12th overall. Freshman
Claire Nelsen also delivered a career-low round of 104 (+33), good for 14th place, while senior
Erma Ramirez rounded out the lineup with a personal-best 120 (+49) to claim 19th. With three of four golfers shooting career-best scores, North Central not only posted a season-low team total of 418 (+134), but also earned their highest invitational finish of the season with 3rd place out of four teams.
