North Central Claims 3rd Place at BLC Invite, Led by Even Par Performance From Dunton

Hutchinson, MN -- North Central University (NCU) Men's golf headed to Hutchinson today to play in the BLC Invite hosted by Bethany Lutheran College. The meet took place at the Crow River Country Club, where the men took home 3rd place among 12th teams. Kaden Dunton continued his hot streak with another outstanding round, shooting par 71 to anchor NCU.

Freshman standout Kaden Dunton led the Rams once again, firing an even-par 71 to secure 3rd place overall, just two shots off the medalist and marking his second top-3 finish of the fall. Close behind was sophomore Greg Salinas, who carded a steady 74 (+3) to tie for 6th, giving the Rams two players inside the top 10. Hector Avila battled through the back nine to post an 83 (+12), tying for 31st, while junior Joe Stanton came in just one stroke behind at 84 (+13), tied for 33rd. Rounding out the Rams lineup was junior Ashton Stansfield, who recorded a 91 (+20) to finish tied for 50th in a field of 60 golfers. With Dunton's top-3 finish and the Rams placing all five golfers inside the top 50, NCU's 312 also marked one of their lowest team scores of the season, continuing a trend of steady improvement.
