North Central University Athletics

2023:

Competed in both the indoor and outdoor season for the Rams... At the CSS Opener, finished his best in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.33 seconds... At the UMAC Indoor Championships helped the 4 x 200 meter relay to a 2nd place finish and the 4 x 400 meter relay to another 2nd place finish... In the outdoor season, had his biggest performances at the UMAC Outdor championships... Finished in 8th place in 200 meter dash (23.60 seconds) and 5th place in the 100 meter dash (11.59 seconds)... Helped the 4 x 100 meter relay to a 2nd place finish and the 4 x 400 meter relay to a 3rd place finish overall... Qualified for the NCCAA Outdoor National Championships in the 4 x 400 relay, breaking the school record in the event at 3:32.01 (10th place). 

2022: 

Competed in both indoor and outdoor season for the Rams... Earned two top five finishes at the UMAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 60 meter with an indoor best of 7.36 (4th place) as well as the 4 x 200 meter relay (3rd place)... Also hit his best long jump mark at the Championships in 5.77 meters.... In the outdoor season, ran his fastest time in the 100 meter in a time of 11.80 at the UW-River Falls Falcon Invite... Omeja collected two top eight finishes at the UMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in both the 100 meter (7th place) and the 4 x 100 meter relay (4th place)... Also earned the UMAC Sportsmanship Award for the 2022 season.

Prep Career:

Competed for the track and field team at Marshall High School in Wisconsin... Throughout his career, Omeja earned Second Team All Conference in the 4x100 (2021), Team MVP (2019), Team Captain (2021), as well as Team Conference Champions (2021).

Personal: 

Born July 29th, 2003 in Madison, WI... Parents are Simon and Andrea Omeja... Dad works in International Business in Nigeria and Mom works as a school secretary... Majoring in Criminal Justice at North Central.
