2024 Season Highlights

Competed in both the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Rams... In the indoor season, posted his best 200 meter time of 27.01 seconds and 60 meter dash of 7.90 seconds at the Jack Johnson Classic... In the outdoor season, VanWyk took home 1st place in the javelin throw with a personal best 37.04 meters at the Gustie Twilight... Named an NCCAA Scholar Athlete... Earned UMAC Indoor T&F Sportsmanship Award honors.

2023 Season Highlights

Competed in both the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Rams... In the indoor season, posted his best 400 meter time 1:00.27 at the UW River Falls Winter Classic... His fastest 200 meter came from the Gene Glader Classic in a time of 25.09 seconds... In outdoor, competed in the 800 meter at the Running on Hope Invitational finishing in 2:31.41... At the UMAC Outdoor Championships, VanWyk finished 10th place in the javelin throw with his mark of 36.62 meters. 

Prep Career

Played for New Life Academy... Defensive player of the year and All Conference for soccer... Graduated in 2022.

Born November 7th, 2003 in Afton, MN... Majoring in Marketing... Parents are Jon and Rachel. Parents are both Teachers... Siblings are Chalie (16), Cami (10), and Kingston (8).
