ST. PAUL, Minn - The North Central University women's tennis was in action on Wednesday as they made the short trip to cross-town rival, the University of Northwestern. The two squared off in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference battled that ended with the Rams falling in all nine matches, as the Eagles won 9-0.

Anne Clarke played in the no.1 position for the Rams as she lost 6-0, 6-0. Madalyn Meetz filled in for the number two spot for the Rams, but could also not find an answer for the opposition as she fell 6-1, 6-3.  Sierra Hunter  and Nicole Swanson played in the no.3 and no.4 positions respectively, but fell in straight sets. Erin Oellerich  and Rachel Cribb rounded out the singles players for the Rams as Oellerich fell 6-0 and 6-0 in the no.5 position and Rachel Cribb lost 6-1, and 6-4 in the no.6 position.

In the doubles matches Anne Clarke competed alongside partner, Madalyn Meetz in the top doubles position. Clarke and Meetz dropped the match 8-1. Sierra Hunter and Nicole Swanson lost 8-0 as they were slotted in the no.2 doubles position. Erin Ollerrich partnered with Rachel Cribb in the final doubles slot but could not find an answer for UNW either, as they fell 8-0 in the final doubles match of the afternoon. 

The Rams will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 p.m. from Morris, Minnesota, as they will battle with the Cougars for their final regular season matches of the season.
