LAKEVILLE, Minn - The North Central University women's tennis was in action on Friday as they took on the University of Wisconsin-Superior in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference dual. The Rams fell in all nine matches as the Yellowjackets won 9-0.
Sierra Hunter played in the no.1 position for the Rams as she lost 6-1, 6-0.
Madalyn Meetz lost 6-1, 6-1 in the no.2 singles position
Nicole Swanson and Erin Ollerrich played in the no.3 and no.4 positions respectively, but fell in straight sets.
Emily Loop and Rachel Cribb rounded out the singles players for the Rams as Loop fell 6-1 and 6-0 in the no.5 position and Rachel Cribb lost 6-2, and 6-3 in the no.6 position.
In the doubles matches
Anne Clarke returned to the court alongside
Madalyn Meetz in the top doubles position. Clarke and Meetz dropped the match 8-1.
Sierra Hunter and
Emily Loop lost 8-2 in the no.2 doubles position.
Nicole Swanson and Erin Ollerrich lost 8-0 to round out the doubles matches.
The Rams will be back in action on April, 13th at 11:00 a.m. in Chaska, Minnesota as they will take on Crown in a non-conference matchup.
